Voter Education Rally – July 2nd

Want to learn more about the candidates who will be on the ballot on July 27th (primary election) and November 2nd (general election)?

The Muskogee Tea Party will be hosting a VOTER EDUCATION RALLY on the evening of July 2nd, starting at 6:00pm at Civitan Park in Muskogee (map). All candidates for state-wide and federal office will be invited. Other activities to take place – stay tuned for updates!

Activities will include:

  • Presentation of the Colors and Pledge of Allegiance by Cub Scout Pack 622
  • Candidates for statewide office speaking
  • Candidates for federal office speaking
  • Straw poll
  • ObamaCare repeal petition

This will be a nonpartisan gathering of Democrat, Republican, and Independent candidates and voters.

If you are a candidate for a statewide office (i.e. Governor, state treasurer, Insurance Commissioner, etc.), for U.S. Senate, or for the 2nd Congressional District seat, please contact MuskogeeTeaParty@gmail.com or (918) 869-6000 and let us know whether you will be attending or not.

Candidates will be given 2-3 minutes to speak. Also, campaigns can have a table to display their information and signs, etcetera (we will not be providing the tables).
